"I went into my sound healing session with Fiona, my first such experience, not expecting anything. I wanted to have a clean experience, to just observe the sounds and how I felt in return. First of all, the sounds themselves were supremely pleasing and relaxing. Then five minutes in I felt a change in my ears. They were warm, as if flowing with energy. That sensation slowly radiated into the rest of my body. I felt at peace, but alert, balanced. I felt an urge to channel this energy and I naturally focused on exuding love . . . when the sounds ended, I was left calmly gleeful, free of worries, focused, and connected both to myself and the world around me."—M.K.

Private Sound Therapy Session

Sound, music, rhythm, and vibration are universal to the human experience. They can bring elation, peace, and transformation and are unique in their ability to connect us to ourselves and to one another. Similar in approach to the sound bath described below, a private sound therapy session is customized for the individual. You can come to my Adams Morgan location or I can travel. Sessions may include aromatherapy; please inform me of any allergies or sensitivities.

Sound Baths

A sound bath is a group meditation intended to foster relaxation and healing through the use of therapeutic sound. The term "sound bath" is meant to connote the feeling of sound "washing over" you. I can facilitate these at yoga studios and other venues. My approach is typically based on elements of nature: earth, wood, water, metal, and air. Intended to take you through a journey of sound, the instruments used include shakers, chimes, kalimba (thumb piano), tuning forks, singing bowls, and voice. Please check the schedule for upcoming events.

I have 100 hours of training as an integrative sound and music practitioner from the Open Center in New York City.

Please contact me to schedule a private or public sound experience.
